What you will do
- Create developer-focused content including user guides, programming guides, API reference docs, and release notes.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, well-structured, and practical documentation.
- Develop meaningful code examples to help developers apply QNX technologies.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product managers to gather insights from source code and designs.
- Maintain and evolve documentation toolchains using DITA-OT, CSS, and XSLT.
- Publish content across WebHelp and PDF platforms using Oxygen XML.
Requirements
- Experience writing technical documentation for a developer audience.
- Strong understanding of information architecture and structured authoring.
- Ability to read and interpret C/C++ code.
- Experience with DITA-OT, XSLT, CSS, or similar documentation frameworks.
- Familiarity with markup languages, version control, and CI/CD workflows.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Nice to have
- Experience documenting complex or embedded systems.
- Knowledge of search optimization, content discoverability, and UX in documentation.
- Experience building or optimizing documentation toolchains.
- Scripting skills in Python or Perl for automation and testing.
