What you will do

• Create developer-focused content including user guides, programming guides, API reference docs, and release notes.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, well-structured, and practical documentation.
• Develop meaningful code examples to help developers apply QNX technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product managers to gather insights from source code and designs.
• Maintain and evolve documentation toolchains using DITA-OT, CSS, and XSLT.
• Publish content across WebHelp and PDF platforms using Oxygen XML.

Requirements

• Experience writing technical documentation for a developer audience.
• Strong understanding of information architecture and structured authoring.
• Ability to read and interpret C/C++ code.
• Experience with DITA-OT, XSLT, CSS, or similar documentation frameworks.
• Familiarity with markup languages, version control, and CI/CD workflows.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience documenting complex or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of search optimization, content discoverability, and UX in documentation.
• Experience building or optimizing documentation toolchains.
• Scripting skills in Python or Perl for automation and testing.
