Software Engineer (Legal Tech)

Salary: $79,000–$119,000 annually, plus annual performance bonus and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Design performant, scalable, secure software for processing massive datasets.
• Build and maintain distributed systems with multiple databases, processing layers, and web servers.
• Develop cloud-native and serverless solutions for large-scale data ingestion and document processing.
• Collaborate with the software development team to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
• Develop unit and integration testing strategies and apply static analysis.
• Improve engineering tools, policies, procedures, and knowledge sharing through pair programming.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Experience with object-oriented programming using C#, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Experience working on an agile software development team.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices across the application stack.
• Experience with automation, quality assurance, system integration, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

Nice to have

• Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience designing scalable solutions in Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and serverless technologies.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Awareness of emerging technology trends and their practical applications.
