TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Salt Lake City, Utah (Hybrid: Monday-Thursday in-office, Friday remote).

Salary: $85,000–$110,000

What you will do

  • Review monthly NAV packages prepared by third-party administrators.
  • Reconcile cash, positions, and activity between administrators and custodians.
  • Validate portfolio valuations against GP and independent advisor data.
  • Recalculate management and incentive fees to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage the end-to-end annual audit process with external auditors.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or public accounting with alternative investment clients.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP investment company accounting.
  • Experience with registered funds ('40 Act and '34 Act) and SEC reporting.
  • Ability to manage complex financial data with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for working with internal partners and external service providers.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Collective Investment Trust (CIT) accounting.
  • CPA certification.
