What you will do

• Design and wire electrical cabinets, including power, control electronics, safety circuits, and I/O systems.
• Develop and implement control and safety logic using PLC systems and motion control solutions (e.g., Beckhoff, PMAC).
• Integrate and commission mechatronic systems operating under high vacuum and cryogenic conditions.
• Perform system qualification, including thermal performance and vacuum leak testing.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation for advanced scientific instruments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and reliability of existing instrumentation.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in electrical/electronic schematic design and instrumentation control electronics.
• Hands-on experience with vacuum, cryogenic, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in motion control systems and PLC programming.
• Solid understanding of applied physics for engineering applications.
• English: Good written and spoken level required.

Nice to have

• Experience in prototype development, asshirify.globaly, and testing.
• Experience working within an international research environment.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols or optics.
• Working knowledge of French.
