What you will do

• Perform structural analysis including stiffness, strength, durability, and noise/vibration performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Chassis Product Development Teams to meet design requirements.
• Lead execution of virtual strategies for chassis components and systems.
• Develop and refine analysis procedures, methods, and tools including scripts and applications.
• Coordinate supplier CAE activities and present engineering recommendations based on analysis results.
• Engage in innovation projects to support the development of new virtual tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Computer Aided Engineer or Mechanical Engineer role.
• Must be able to report to the local office in Warren, Michigan.
• Proficiency in FE modeling, analysis, and optimization using CAD/CAE software.
• Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python, HyperWorks, ANSA, NASTRAN, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, and nCode.
