What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and integration of complex seat systems across multiple vehicle programs.
• Provide technical leadership for seat performance, including comfort, crashworthiness, and cost optimization.
• Coach and mentor a team of engineers to resolve complex technical issues and implement organizational vision.
• Collaborate with suppliers, design studios, and vehicle program teams to ensure alignment with SMT objectives.
• Lead the development and maintenance of system-level DFMEAs and integration strategies.
• Manage and optimize enterprise piece and tooling costs for large-scale seat development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Extensive experience in seat system development, including structures, foam, trim, and occupant detection.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach internal and external engineering resources.
• Strong background in design and manufacturing to guide robust product development.
• Familiarity with GD&T, DFMEAs, PFMEAs, and KCDS tools.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Engineering.
• RED-X problem-solving certification.
• DFSS Master Black Belt.
