Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin)

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product managers in daily standups to drive sprint goals.
• Develop and maintain platform functionality using Java, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript with TDD.
• Build event-driven microservices using serverless technologies and RESTful Spring Boot APIs.
• Manage infrastructure as code using AWS services including Lambda, ECS, Fargate, and Kinesis.
• Model complex product data and optimize interactions with MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Participate in architectural decision-making and engineering practice improvements through whiteboarding and peer collaboration.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in back-end object-oriented programming, specifically Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
