What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Grails and Groovy.
- Build scalable and reliable backend services and REST APIs.
- Utilize AWS services to support application deployment, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement technical architectures.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing production applications.
- Participate in code reviews and technical decision-making processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Grails, Groovy, and AWS.
- Proven expertise in backend architectures and building/consuming REST APIs.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Proficiency in Agile development environments.
- English proficiency is required for remote collaboration with worldwide teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Java and Spring Framework.
- Knowledge of .NET.
- Experience with Microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker or other containerization technologies.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks.
