What you will do

• Lead procurement strategy and execution for capital projects ranging from $10M to $1.5B.
• Identify, prequalify, and maintain a vendor network across Engineering, EPC, General Contractors, and specialty services.
• Develop and negotiate complex EPC agreements, equipment purchase contracts, and installation agreements.
• Negotiate critical commercial terms including risk allocation, warranties, liquidated damages, and performance guarantees.
• Partner with Engineering, PMO, Legal, and Finance to align procurement decisions with overall project objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop project procurement managers and sourcing professionals.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial/contract management.
• Proven experience leading high-value EPC or major capital project procurement (projects of $100M+).
• Experience managing EPC contractors, engineering firms, and major equipment suppliers.
• Expertise in negotiating indemnity, insurance, bonding, and government flow-down terms.
• Strong analytical reporting and executive communication skills.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance; MBA preferred.
• Experience in utilities, power generation, waste-to-energy, oil and gas, or chemicals.
• Familiarity with lean problem solving, data-driven root-cause analysis, and procurement governance.
