What you will do

• Maintain data center and office environments to ensure server security, operationality, and high availability.
• Perform server hardware upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Execute daily computer room operations and proactive monitoring.
• Utilize specialized tools for copper and fiber cable certification and troubleshooting.
• Manage small parts inventory and record transactions in the control database.

Requirements

• Knowledge of LAN/WAN topology.
• Experience in server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform fiber and copper cabling certification.
• Must be able to work on-site in Aurora, IL.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with RedBeam (Inventory Control), RF Code (Environmental Monitoring), or Genetec (Security Surveillance) software.
