What you will do

• Deploy machine learning and data science solutions to optimize the shopping experience and maximize vendor reach.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to evolve ranking, relevance, and auction algorithms for onsite and offsite advertising.
• Lead new models from ideation and experimentation through to production delivery.
• Publish research papers in leading ML/AI/Advertising conferences to solve scale problems.
• Establish performance bars and applied-science implementation best practices while mentoring junior scientists.
• Communicate research insights and recommendations to senior leadership and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (M.S., PhD) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience working in Machine Learning.
• 3+ years of experience designing optimization and ML solutions for large-scale applications.
• Experience building, tuning, and optimizing distributed pipelines.
• Domain experience with Sponsored Ads or general Advertisement systems.
• Proficiency in Predictive Models, Linear Programming, Classification, Search, Ranking, or large-scale embeddings.

Nice to have

• Experience in the e-commerce or retail sectors.
• Prior experience with Advertising systems.
• Experience with AWS ML Services such as SageMaker or Personalize.
