What you will do

• Design and architect secure, scalable network architectures using VPNs, VPCs, and load balancers.
• Provision and manage cloud-based network resources across AWS, Azure, and Cisco Meraki.
• Implement robust security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
• Monitor network performance and optimize for stability, availability, and efficiency.
• Integrate cloud environments with on-premises infrastructure via secure VPN methods.
• Automate network operations using scripting tools to reduce manual tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Professional experience in network and security engineering within an IT environment.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, WAN, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF.
• 3+ years of experience in an L2 IT Support capacity.
• Proficiency with Cisco (Meraki), Palo Alto, and Fortinet devices.
• Experience with VMware vSphere 6.5+, Microsoft Server (2008 R2 – 2019), and SAN systems.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNA and CCNP certifications.
• Azure or AWS accreditations (e.g., AZ-104, AWS Solutions Architect).
• ITIL Certification.
