What you will do

• Detect and triage network anomalies across satellites, ground stations, and terrestrial infrastructure.
• Execute rapid incident response to mitigate major network disruptions and service degradation.
• Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for complex residential and enterprise network issues.
• Manage routine and emergency maintenance in coordination with engineering teams and external partners.
• Improve operational processes and efficiency within the Network Operations Center.
• Provide advanced technical support for network performance and uptime optimization.

Requirements

• Must be based in Dublin, Ireland
• 1+ year of professional experience in a NOC, SOC, or Data Center operations environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using packet captures and device telemetry.
• Familiarity with networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Basic proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, SQL, or Bash.
• Must be available for day-time on-shift rotations and weekends as needed.

Nice to have

• Industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, Network+, or Security+.
• Experience with modern networking technologies like WDM, VXLAN, or MACsec.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM discipline.
• Experience in residential or business customer support.
