What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of backend platform components from design through production.
• Lead implementation of core services including integrations, messaging infrastructure, and data ingestion.
• Make technical decisions regarding data modeling, API design, and operational reliability.
• Partner with AI Engineering and Product teams to translate requirements into robust software.
• Drive performance and observability improvements while leading incident response.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and design feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend or data infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including FastAPI and Celery.
• Deep experience with Postgres schema design and query optimization.
• Proven track record of operating production systems at scale.
• Experience designing integrations with third-party SaaS systems.
• Strong background in modern cloud architectures, specifically AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS environments.
• Familiarity with Terraform, EKS, Datadog, and GitLab.
• Experience with messaging infrastructure (SMTP, SMS aggregators).
• Knowledge of Redshift, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and Redis.
