Project Controller (Finance)

TL;DR

Project Controller (Finance): Providing financial oversight and business analysis for the Marine Site Characterisation team with an accent on project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Focus on ensuring accurate financial information, monitoring project performance, and supporting commercial decision-making processes.

Location: Must be based in Aberdeen, UK (Hybrid: 2 days/week from home).

What you will do

• Provide financial oversight and timely reporting for Marine Geophysical projects.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis to predict outcomes and support decision-making.
• Review tender calculations and financial risk exposure.
• Monitor working capital, cashflow, and CAPEX applications.
• Act as a business partner to the Service Line Management team.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the Aberdeen office.
• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet strict project and month-end deadlines.
