What you will do

• Design and build backend services and APIs using Node, TypeScript, Supabase, and Deno.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases and telemetry data pipelines between systems.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party services and physical IoT devices.
• Own projects end-to-end from scoping to production deployment.
• Implement observability and monitoring to ensure system reliability and failure safety.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Node and TypeScript.
• Expertise in data modeling and SQL with Postgres.
• Experience designing and running microservices on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in Latin America and available during Pacific to East Coast time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with telemetry, IoT, or device-connected systems.
• Familiarity with Supabase, Deno, Modal, DBOS, GitHub, CircleCI, Datadog, LaunchDarkly, Snyk, and Auth0.
