What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs from scratch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and shape product architecture.
• Build core platform functionality with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Integrate external services, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Ensure high code quality through comprehensive unit and integration test coverage.
• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript (strict typing, decorators, async patterns) and Node.js.
• Expertise in NestJS (modules, DI, guards/interceptors) and microservices design.
• Strong experience in PostgreSQL relational modelling, ACID, and GIN indexes.
• Proficiency with ORMs such as Prisma, TypeORM, or Drizzle.
• Knowledge of DDD and microservices extraction patterns (bounded contexts).
• Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS Fargate, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, CloudWatch) and Docker.
• Must be based in Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Experience with HTML-to-PDF generation.
• Knowledge of AWS CDK for infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with Amazon Cognito, Firebase Cloud Messaging, or APNs.
• Familiarity with OpenSearch, Multi-AZ HA, and X-Ray tracing.
