What you will do

• Design, implement, and execute next-generation CI/CD instances with an emphasis on security and performance.
• Develop features and enhancements for CI/CD solutions by extending vendor-provided software stacks.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering stakeholders to improve service quality and functions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems within the core GitLab environment and the broader SDLC ecosystem.
• Implement reliability engineering and operational resiliency practices.
• Analyze and report on system metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of: Golang, Java, Python, C, or C++.
• Professional experience with Cloud deployment patterns, specifically AWS and Hashicorp Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and networking protocols.
• Must be based in Singapore.

Nice to have

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux internals.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
