What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of feature development from design to production rollout.
• Build and operate backend services within a microservices architecture.
• Participate in system design, architecture planning, and technical decision-making.
• Develop and tune asynchronous, message-driven components using Redis Streams.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with robust test coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact product outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in backend JavaScript/Node.js.
• Proven experience building and maintaining SaaS applications or production backend services.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, service boundaries, and reliability patterns.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Redis, including Redis Streams or similar pub/sub systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake and data pipelines.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based production environments.
• Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with observability tooling and incident response.
