What you will do

• Architect and evolve backend systems supporting millions of active users.
• Design clean, reliable REST APIs for frontend and other engineering teams.
• Build and optimize complex data flows, caching, and messaging systems.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks before they affect users.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to ship and iterate quickly.
• Challenge assumptions and raise the standard of backend engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building backend systems at scale.
• Strong hands-on Node.js and TypeScript experience as a primary backend stack.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and REST APIs.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on experience with Redis and RabbitMQ.
• Confidence with Nginx, Kubernetes, and deployment pipelines.

• Experience shipping services in Go or willingness to learn it.
