What you will do

• Maintain and improve AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for security and cost-efficiency.
• Automate and advance CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using GitLab CI and Terraform.
• Take ownership of critical Kubernetes components, including scaling strategies, secrets management, and core networking.
• Design and maintain observability solutions using Datadog, Opensearch, and fluentd to ensure 24/7 availability.
• Act as an expert consultant to internal development teams to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Platform or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Strong expertise with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Confidence working with containerization and orchestration via Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid background in CI/CD tools, specifically GitLab CI and Terraform.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in the Go programming language.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Hamburg, Germany.
