What you will do

• Own the design, operation, and evolution of the cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform to provide reusable modules and automate manual processes.
• Evolve the CI/CD platform using GitLab CI/CD to enable autonomous and secure deployments.
• Ensure platform reliability by monitoring performance and stability to prevent incidents.
• Integrate security controls (IAM, RBAC) in collaboration with the CISO team and ensure compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001.
• Implement FinOps practices, including cloud cost monitoring, budgeting, and resource optimization.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure across compute, networking, storage, and identity.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM for infrastructure automation.
• Experience building and running production CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/Nomad, or Azure ACA/ACI.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• English: Fluent (C1) proficiency required.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work from Munich, Berlin, or Halle (Saale).

Nice to have

• Azure certifications or experience with FinOps frameworks.
• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of distributed or hybrid systems.
