Sr. Staff Cloud Architecture Lead (Storage)

Sr. Staff Cloud Architecture Lead (Cloud Architecture): Engaging with China’s leading cloud service providers and enterprise partners to design and optimize storage solutions at the system architecture level with an accent on storage deployment in large-scale environments. Focus on influencing architecture decisions, strengthening customer partnerships, and translating technical insights into product requirements and roadmap strategy.

Location: Beijing / Hangzhou / Shenzhen preferred; exceptional candidates in other China locations will also be considered.

What you will do

• Build deep relationships with customer R&D and infrastructure teams.
• Lead system-level architecture discussions, focusing on design choices, trade-offs, and scaling challenges.
• Analyze how storage is deployed and operated in real-world large-scale environments.
• Influence customer design decisions and identify architecture improvement opportunities.
• Translate customer insights into actionable product requirements and solution strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to align priorities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud computing, systems architecture, and data workloads.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis.
• Willingness to travel within China (up to 25%).
