What you will do
- Own the roadmap for sponsored listings auction optimization, including auction mechanics, bidding strategies, and pricing models.
- Lead development and evolution of auction functions to improve marketplace efficiency, partner ROI, and revenue growth.
- Drive ad relevance initiatives to improve quality and personalization of sponsored listings for travelers.
- Partner with machine learning and engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize auction algorithms.
- Define success metrics, analyze performance data, and identify growth opportunities through auction improvements.
- Use AI and GenAI tools to accelerate product development and improve decision-making.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience, preferably in digital advertising, marketplace platforms, or auction-based systems.
- Proven track record launching and scaling technical products with measurable business outcomes.
- Experience with machine learning applications, preferably in advertising or marketplace optimization.
- Strong analytical skills using data to inform product decisions and measure success.
- Experience working with engineering and data science teams to deliver complex, technical products.
- Understanding of auction mechanics, pricing strategies, or related marketplace dynamics; knowledge of digital advertising ecosystems (e.g., programmatic advertising, sponsored search).
Nice to have
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) in a quantitative or technical field.
- Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, or agent-based systems applied to product development.
- Experience at a technology company or marketplace business.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product development lifecycles.
- Experience with two-sided marketplace products connecting supply and demand.
