What you will do

• Conduct coding and compliance audits for physicians and mid-level providers.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide education to physicians based on audit findings and denial trends.
• Evaluate documentation quality to support medical necessity and coding accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with split/shared services, teaching physician guidelines, and payer-specific rules.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA standards and information security policies.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPC or CCS coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC required.
• Minimum 5 years of coding experience and 2 years of auditing experience in a multi-specialty setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and job-related software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
