What you will do

• Develop and maintain custom integrations and ETL processes between K-12 data and internal/external systems.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into robust technical specifications.
• Monitor data flow issues and troubleshoot API changes.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) on downstream data to ensure consistency and alignment with customer requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation for systems, data models, and processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Must be based in the US.
• Hands-on experience with Student Information Systems (SIS) or other K-12 platforms.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, SFTP, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data quality assurance practices, including validation and reconciliation of datasets.
