What you will do
- Design and implement risk procedures and requirements for assigned high-risk verticals before handover to BAU teams.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory and payment scheme rules to ensure organizational compliance.
- Facilitate training sessions for internal stakeholders on SOPs and work instructions.
- Oversee exceptional onboarding and periodic review processes for high-risk merchants.
- Act as the single point of contact for 2nd line teams including Compliance, MRM, and Scheme Licensing.
- Perform horizon scanning to identify emerging industry risks and trends in business models.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from Warsaw, Poland
- Strong understanding of AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements in the payments industry.
- Experience with high-risk verticals such as gambling, crypto, or dating.
- Ability to design and document complex risk procedures and work instructions.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and reporting to senior leadership.
