Senior DevOps Engineer (DevSecOps)

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (DevSecOps): Designing and implementing secure cloud-native infrastructure and DevSecOps pipelines for USTRANSCOM with an accent on Infrastructure as Code and automated compliance scanning. Focus on developing Terraform-based deployment scripts, engineering XCCDF checklists, and ensuring strict adherence to DoD security baselines.

Location: St. Louis, MO. Must hold an active DoD Secret security clearance and be eligible for TS-SCI.

What you will do

• Manage Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs) backlogs and map them to enterprise security services.
• Develop custom Security Configuration Guides (SCGs) to address evolving threat profiles.
• Engineer XML-based XCCDF checklists for automated compliance scanning of cloud assets.
• Create Terraform-based IaC deployment manifests to automate secure provisioning.
• Evaluate CI/CD automated control gates and manage pipeline false positives.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity SMEs to meet DoD container security requirements.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret security clearance required (must be eligible for TS-SCI for platform access).
• Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M / DoDM 8140.03 requirements.
• Completion of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) Cyber 101 course.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in DevSecOps, automation, and cloud security.
• Deep mastery of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
