What you will do

• Lead capital project work end-to-end, including design, CIR write-ups, contractor bid packages, installation oversight, cost tracking, training, startup assistance, and post-project support.
• Perform analysis to develop design options and evaluate cost impacts.
• Develop and maintain the long-term capital plan; originate formal project requests and develop solutions considering economic, personnel, and environmental factors.
• Partner with plant engineering leadership, corporate engineering, plant staff, and production teams to deliver projects aligned with business strategy and company policies.
• Coordinate purchasing and administrative activities for capital projects, including material purchases and updates to purchase orders with incorrect information.
• Support safety and compliance activities, including contractor safety program maintenance and support for the Process Safety Management program.

Requirements

• 2+ years of project management experience leading projects from beginning to end.
• Technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment.
• BS in an engineering discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
• Project management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (food processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments will be considered).
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and effective communication skills.
• Located in Park Rapids, MN.
