TL;DR

Director of Finance & Operations (SaaS): Managing all aspects of financial strategy, operations, and people functions to scale a SaaS company for CPG brands with an accent on FP&A, investor reporting, and organizational structure. Focus on building sustainable financial infrastructure, overseeing People Ops, and optimizing the corporate SaaS tool stack.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the USA)

What you will do

  • Lead FP&A, financial modeling, long-term planning, and investor reporting.
  • Manage cap table administration, equity matters, and KPI scorecard reporting.
  • Oversee the People Ops function, including onboarding, offboarding, and compensation benchmarking.
  • Manage the company’s IT and SaaS tool stack, including user provisioning and vendor negotiations.
  • Lead the audit process and support variable compensation plan execution.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic initiatives and fundraising.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a finance leadership role (Director/VP/Head), preferably in tech/SaaS.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and modeling.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite).
  • Proven ability to scale financial systems in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Strong communication skills to translate financial insights into business strategies.
  • Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the eCommerce/Shopify ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with fundraising and tax compliance.
  • Experience overseeing HR and employee lifecycle management.
