Senior Associate, Contracts and Compliance (Legal): Providing risk-based contracting and compliance support for the UKEA project and corporate portfolio with an accent on UK government contracting and commercial risk mitigation. Location: Based in London office. Hybrid working model (3 days office, 2 days remote). Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Perform first-line review of legal issues relating to subcontracts and contract amendments.
- Maintain and develop the suite of UKEA contracting templates to meet business needs.
- Advise projects on compliance with SOPs and UK public sector rules and regulations.
- Manage country legal profiles and oversee overseas entity registrations and registries.
- Support business capture activities, including the review of teaming agreements and partner due diligence.
- Coordinate with HR and Legal to support workplace and employee relations investigations.
Requirements
- Degree in Law or paralegal background with strong knowledge of contract law.
- Substantial experience in commercial contracting, specifically with UK government contracts.
- Proven experience leading negotiations on commercial transactions.
- Experience managing large, complex projects with high risk profiles.
- Knowledge of international business, corporate structures, and governance.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
Nice to have
- Experience in commercial transactions, financial institutions, or consulting environments.
- Knowledge of SharePoint.
- Experience using AI tools to support role effectiveness.
