What you will do

• Design, estimate, and code new features using Ruby on Rails.
• Maintain and expand existing applications and services to ensure they scale to meet demand.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code to ensure top production quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other developers on enterprise architecture.
• Perform code reviews and participate in software design discussions and sprint planning.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming in Ruby, PHP, or Java.
• 2+ years of experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency in complex SQL queries and database schema design.
• Experience with MVC frameworks (Rails, Laravel, or Django) and unit testing.
• Experience with modern server components such as Memcache, Redis, ActiveMQ, and Solr.
• BS/MS degree from a 4-year college.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic AI development tools.
• Knowledge of rapid deployment tooling like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and distributed systems.
