What you will do

• Advise stakeholders across the organization on data protection laws, local provisions, and internal policies.
• Monitor compliance with GDPR and internal standards to prevent and address data protection violations.
• Harmonize data protection processes and documentation, including RoPA, assessments, and service catalogs.
• Perform Privacy by Design, Legitimate Interest, Transfer Impact, and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
• Manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and data breach incidents.
• Conduct third-party data protection due diligence and report on AI regulatory trends.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in data protection or compliance, ideally within e-commerce, banking, or payments.
• Strong expertise in GDPR, ePrivacy, the AI Act, and related data protection laws.
• Solid understanding of IT fundamentals and information security basics.
• Ability to translate complex legal and technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Fluent English (C1) is mandatory.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Brussels, Belgium.
