What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 5–10 Associate AI Research & Operations Analysts.
• Translate complex business needs into structured, actionable AI development plans.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify and scale AI opportunities.
• Oversee the quality of team outputs, including prototypes, evaluations, and automation builds.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and problem-solving support for AI projects.
• Define team processes and operating norms to ensure efficient project delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, technical analysis, or project management.
• 1+ years of experience managing or formally mentoring a team.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with generative AI, LLM APIs, and prompt engineering.
• Strong communication skills for bridging technical and non-technical stakeholder needs.
• Ability to scope ambiguous requests and manage concurrent project workloads.
• Must be based in or able to work from El Segundo, California.

Nice to have

• Experience in data science or quantitative analysis.
• Background in fast-moving tech, digital media, or SaaS environments.
• Experience building team processes from scratch.
