Platform Engineer (Kubernetes)

Salary: $123,250 - $166,750

What you will do

• Deploy and manage UDS environments across AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and on-prem clusters.
• Build and maintain custom UDS packages and application-specific modules.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules for environment provisioning.
• Serve as the primary technical interface for customers, providing architecture guidance and production support.
• Develop and deliver technical training content for platform features and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment efficiency and customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Must have an active Secret clearance.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and containerized applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or on-prem Kubernetes (RKE2, K3s, OpenShift).
• Experience with GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, OpenTofu).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps/DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or GitHub).
• Willingness to travel 10%-25% for on-site training and support.

Nice to have

• DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
• Experience with hybrid cloud networking, RBAC, and storage.
