Senior Project Leader (IDAM)

TL;DR

Senior Project Leader (IDAM): Leading end-to-end information security projects within a CISO organization with an accent on Identity & Access Management (IDAM) and infrastructure security. Focus on driving complex security epics from initiation to closure, ensuring governance, and managing cross-functional delivery teams.

Location: Must be based in Belgium, France, or the Netherlands. Hybrid role with a minimum on-site requirement of 8 days per month.

What you will do

• Lead security epics from ideation through to closure, managing scope, budget, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans aligned with Waterfall, PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating to governance bodies as needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across CISO, IT, and business functions to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee operational readiness, testing, and deployment activities to ensure smooth production transitions.
• Prepare and present status reports to sponsorship and governance committees.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Project Management experience in large financial services organizations.
• Must be based in Belgium, France, or the Netherlands.
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale projects (1000–3000 man-days) in parallel.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management and delivery methodologies.
• Solid experience in Identity & Access Management (IDAM) concepts and architecture.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage multi-vendor environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, specifically CyberArk.
• Experience managing outsourced or multi-vendor environments.
