What you will do

• Perform organic syntheses following SOPs to manufacture compounds for company products.
• Monitor reaction progress using HPLC and TLC.
• Purify compounds using size-exclusion chromatography, flash chromatography, and recrystallization.
• Analyze purified products and interpret NMR and Mass Spectrometer spectra to determine identity and purity.
• Operate lyophilizers and automated dispensing, crimping, and labeling equipment.
• Manage inventory and complete production batch records using JDEdwards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field (or Associate’s degree with equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with organic chemistry techniques including HPLC, NMR, MS, and chromatography.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Rockville, MD.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and spend up to 80% of the day at a lab bench or cleanroom.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Internship experience in a relative field.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of cGMP and/or ISO certification.
• Experience with JDEdwards or other ERP systems.
