What you will do

• Lead scientific innovation and technical development to provide tailored drug discovery solutions for customers.
• Design, execute, and troubleshoot projects focused on tLNP generation and in vitro cell-based assays.
• Implement emerging drug delivery technologies and build integrated service platforms.
• Draft scientific proposals and reports to address specific client research needs.
• Coordinate collaborations within the in vitro team and with cross-functional departments.
• Ensure operational compliance with EHS rules and government regulations.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in chemical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, immunology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of working experience in Biotech, Pharmaceutical, or CRO industries.
• Expertise in mRNA LNP design, optimization, production, and antibody conjugation.
• Hands-on experience with in vitro validation assays using human whole blood, PBMC, and isolated immune cell subsets.
• Thorough understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Diego, CA
