What you will do
- Contribute to multiomics and spatial biology experimental strategies.
- Perform histological slide preparation from FFPE blocks, including sectioning and staining.
- Validate antibodies using chromogenic and multiplex immunofluorescence approaches.
- Design and optimize multiplex panels using the Lunaphore COMET platform.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and histology instruments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support assay development and technology implementation.
Requirements
- BS with 6 years, M.Sc. with 4 years, or PhD with 2 years of experience in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Significant hands-on experience in histological techniques and antibody validation.
- Demonstrated expertise in multiplex immunofluorescence staining methods.
- Familiarity with automated staining platforms like Leica BOND and microscopy systems.
- Proficiency with image analysis software such as HALO, QuPath, or ImageJ.
- Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.
Nice to have
- Experience with tissue biomarker evaluation or spatial tissue profiling.
- Background in documenting SOPs and QC procedures.
- Experience working in a matrixed, interdisciplinary research environment.
