What you will do

• Configure and manage core network components (STPs, DRAs, HLR/HSS, SMSC, SGSN, GGSN/PGW, SBC) and related network equipment.
• Use dashboards to identify issues and patterns, and build new dashboards to improve visibility.
• Handle incidents following communication procedures with internal stakeholders and external third-party providers.
• Drive telecom interconnection implementation with providers.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, perform security audits, and support emergency response; participate in occasional on-call.
• Debug critical infrastructure using Wireshark tracing and testing tools; work with Linux/Unix systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in mobile core network domain.
• 10+ years with SS7, Sigtran, Diameter, and packet-switched technologies (e.g., GGSN/PGW, GTP, GRX, IPX).
• Strong knowledge of circuit-switched protocols (SS7 including SCCP, TCAP, MAP, CAMEL phases 1–4) and SCTP (SIGTRAN), plus ability to design and configure voice and messaging flows.
• Hands-on experience with Wireshark and sniffers, and ability to work in Linux/Unix shell environments.
• Knowledge of 3GPP, ITU-T, and ANSI standards; understanding of roaming agreements and IR.21 (including IREG testing); familiarity with OCS and CAMEL in billing/call control.
• English: fluent written and spoken; ready to work morning/afternoon shifts.

Nice to have

• BSc in Telecommunication or Computer Science (post-graduate studies are a bonus).
• Knowledge of voice mail, IVR, and PBX/softphones.
• 2+ years of scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.).
