• Produce written articles covering breaking news and trending stories across North American sports.
• Create short-form video content using sports rights and on-demand footage.
• Optimize content for SEO to maximize audience reach and engagement.
• Run live blogs and support real-time event coverage for major sporting events.
• Manage sub-editing responsibilities and homepage presentation.
• Contribute to social media editorial output and content strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience writing both short-form and long-form sports content.
• Strong video editing skills and familiarity with image editing tools.
• Excellent editorial judgement and interviewing experience.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and article optimization techniques.
• Excellent knowledge of major sports.
• Must be able to work on-site in the New York office.
