What you will do

• Perform structured audits of patient case files and member records for accuracy and compliance.
• Extract and maintain data from health information systems to support quality performance monitoring.
• Assist in preparing documentation and audit trails for state and federal regulatory reviews.
• Identify and flag operational inconsistencies or documentation gaps to senior team members.
• Maintain internal tracking logs and assist in drafting data summary reports.
• Collaborate with clinical and customer service teams to clarify inaccuracies and support corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Information Management, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in an administrative, analytical, or auditing role.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel (filtering, sorting, data entry).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive patient information under HIPAA guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in NYC.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with healthcare quality improvement frameworks like PDSA or Lean.
• Understanding of Medicaid/Medicare plan structures or HEDIS metrics.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or database management software.
