What you will do

• Develop AI agents, prompts, and MCPs to maximize Datadog's utility within developer workflows.
• Design and build innovative user experiences and flows within the Datadog ecosystem.
• Prototype and iterate on AI features based on real-world user feedback.
• Research and implement LLM prompt optimization and code editing techniques.
• Collaborate with product teams to build agentic experiences, such as one-click production error reproduction.

Requirements

• Backend engineering experience (at least 5 years).
• Proven track record of shipping LLM-powered software to production.
• Strong knowledge of Large Language Models, large-scale systems, or machine learning.
• Experience building developer tools such as IDEs, static analysis, or SDLC tools.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
