Senior People Partner (LegalTech)

Location: Must be based in New York City (On-site)

Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Partner with the CFO and leadership team on org design, workforce planning, and headcount strategy.
• Set and maintain a high performance bar through calibration, coaching, and proactive intervention.
• Manage complex employee relations, restructurings, and multi-jurisdictional employment topics.
• Act as the primary bridge between the finance function and the broader People organization.
• Identify organizational challenges and capability gaps before they impact systemic health.
• Support finance leaders through rapid growth and organizational scaling.

Requirements

• Must have solid working knowledge of New York employment law.
• Significant experience in a senior HRBP or People Partner role within a high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise tech environment.
• Proven track record as a trusted advisor to senior finance or operational leadership.
• Deep expertise in org design, performance management, leadership development, and compensation.
• Ability to build structure from scratch and operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Strong bias toward action and confidence in holding ground with senior stakeholders.
