What you will do

• Develop character art, including likenesses and hair, ensuring high visual quality.
• Balance artistic detail with the technical hardware constraints of mobile game development.
• Collaborate with the Art Director and Art Lead to drive the look and feel of game elements.
• Manage the processing and integration of outsourced art deliveries.
• Create and manage Art builds within the production pipeline.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating realistic style, specifically sci-fi assets and character/costume art.
• Proficiency in Maya or equivalent 3D software.
• Strong knowledge of Photoshop and Substance Painter.
• Solid understanding of UV mapping, texturing, materials, and lighting for game assets.
• Experience posing characters for rendering.
• Ability to work from Dublin, Barcelona, or the UK on a 12-month fixed term contract

Nice to have

• Knowledge of rigging, skinning, and animation.
• Experience with ZBrush.
• Familiarity with the Unity game engine.
• 2D drawing and painting skills.
• 1+ years of professional experience in the games industry.
• Previous experience in mobile game development.
