Salary: €59,200 – €111,300 per year

What you will do

  • Own and optimize critical defect and review inspection equipment to ensure world-class yields.
  • Analyze equipment performance using statistical methods to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement scalable solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Optimize tool recipes through sustaining and innovation activities to ensure high-sensitivity defect detection.
  • Lead cross-functional equipment improvement initiatives to enhance system operational performance.

Requirements

  • Degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in an equipment engineering environment or similar industry.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities, including extraction, validation, and visualization (e.g., JMP).
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage ambiguity in multicultural teams.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Leixlip, Ireland.

Nice to have

  • Background or hands-on experience in optics.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related high-tech industries.
  • Knowledge of yield analysis and defect reduction methodologies.
  • Familiarity with equipment automation systems.
