Technical Writer II (Government): Creating and revising technical artifacts, process guides, and manuals for the U.S. Coast Guard's C5I Service Center with an accent on Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) processes. Location: Remote (Must have Active Secret security clearance)

What you will do

• Create, edit, and revise technical artifacts, including TRACI matrices, flow charts, SOPs, and Process Guides, following the SELC process.
• Interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop technical publications, manuals, and Change/Configuration Management documents.
• Develop documented recommendations concerning Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS).
• Maintain and update Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP) and companion Equipment Support Sheets (ESS).
• Manage process pages and metrics collection within SharePoint.
• Apply Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) markings to ensure national security and preclude liability.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Associate degree in technical writing with 2 years of experience OR completion of DoD/USCG technical “A” school with 4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel.
• Strong organizational, time management, and meeting facilitation skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex technical data into easy-to-understand information.
