What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end commercial contracts pipeline, including NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs.
  • Establish essential legal infrastructure, such as platform terms, KYC policies, and M&A due diligence frameworks.
  • Handle board and company secretarial mechanics, including resolutions and statutory filings.
  • Support M&A and transaction workstreams, focusing on closing mechanics and risk tracking.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Sales, HR, and Finance teams to embed legal rigour across business processes.
  • Systematise legal operations and risk escalation processes to support business scaling.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister (England & Wales) with 5–12 years PQE.
  • Meaningful in-house experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Expertise in drafting and defending complex commercial contracts.
  • Exposure to M&A, due diligence, and closing mechanics.
  • Proven track record of building legal functions and infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Must be based in London, UK (Hybrid).

Nice to have

  • Experience in technology, SaaS, or cloud infrastructure scale-ups.
  • Knowledge of KYC, sanctions screening, or export controls in a B2B tech context.
  • Company secretarial and corporate governance experience in growth-stage businesses.
  • International legal awareness across EU, US, UAE, or the Nordics.
  • Working knowledge of employment law.
