What you will do

• Oversee and direct facility operations, monitoring plant systems on a continuous basis.
• Execute plant shut-down and start-up procedures to meet generating requirements safely.
• Respond to operational alarms with immediate and appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and leadership to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators.
• Maintain operational logs, calculations, and identify abnormal system conditions.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks during emergency situations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam required within the first year.
• Ability to work on a rotating 12-hour shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Qualification to wear a full-face respirator.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to remain alert during long periods of sedentary monitoring.
