What you will do

• Architect and maintain high-throughput foundational services, specifically focusing on identity/authentication and core search backend.
• Design and implement future shared services to support platform scaling.
• Develop robust internal APIs and developer tools to enable other product teams to build features rapidly.
• Deliver highly testable and secure Golang code with full operational ownership.
• Champion system design, modular architecture, and automated testing within the backend cluster.
• Collaborate with product owners and tech leads to translate requirements into scalable, domain-agnostic solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience as a Senior Backend Engineer with Go.
• Expertise in Identity/Authentication protocols (e.g., Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC) and search engines.
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (GCP or AWS) from an application perspective.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Valencia, Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP for understanding legacy logic during modernization.
